PRWeb has just come out with a neat new feature called Tweetit, which ties into the current Twitter craze
Basically, Tweetit allows PRWeb users to schedule Twitter messages, which are called tweets, to be posted as their press releases are put out on PRWeb. The tweet can be customized and includes a link to the release. (Below is a quick video demo from PRWeb.)
Of course, you need to have a Twitter account and should have developed a relevant group of followers before you use this. But if you do use Twitter as part of your marketing/PR program, Tweetit is a very nice feature to have.

Okay I admint I’m cynical about Twitter. I haven’t gotten onboard. I realize people like it, but how can it continue. Surely to god people have better uses of their time. I see the value for news releated things spreading globally, but beyond that I don’t get it.
